Yes. Ace Hose & Hydraulics runs a 24 hour, 7 day mobile breakdown service across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire. Our vans have built-in mobile workshops, so engineers can make up and fit replacement hydraulic hoses on site. Call 01438 722 671 any time.

We cover Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire from our base in Kimpton, near Hitchin. We also operate as part of a nationwide network, so we can help arrange support further afield.

Anything with hydraulic hoses. That includes tractors and farm machinery, excavators, dumpers and dump trucks, cherry pickers and access platforms, piling rigs, telehandlers, forklifts, HGVs and trailers, and industrial machinery.

Our vans supply and fit hydraulic hoses and fittings (including ferrules, adaptors, valves and quick release couplings), air brake connections, drive belts, and jet wash hoses, lances and nozzles. We also supply oil, lubricants and fuel equipment, and carry out ram repairs.

Our trade counter is at Unit 1, Claggy Road Industrial Estate, Kimpton, Hitchin, Hertfordshire SG4 8QB. It is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Yes. Bring the old hose to the trade counter and we will identify the hose type, end fittings and length, then make up a matched replacement assembly from stock wherever possible. If a part needs ordering, we will tell you straight away.

Note the overall length, the hose type printed along the cover, and the thread type and angle of each end fitting. Photos of both ends help a great deal.

BSP fittings use a 60° cone seat, JIC a 74° included cone, Metric a 24° seat, and ORFS a flat face with an O-ring. Measuring the thread diameter and pitch confirms it. If you are unsure, bring the fitting to the counter and we will identify it for you.

We stock tried and tested, internationally recognised brands, including Hypress hoses, IMM hydraulic fittings, TUV tested air brake connections and Dista QCS drive belts, among thousands of products held in stock.

Yes. Complete our online trade credit application with two trade references and your bank details. Applications are normally processed within 48 hours.

Approved trade accounts are on 30 days nett from the date of invoice. Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT.

Please tell us about invoice queries or quantity and description problems within 7 days of receipt, and faulty products within 14 days of receipt, so we can put things right quickly.
